Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!  I am very excited to be your principal this year.  This is my sixth year at Midway, and my goal is to make it the best school it can be.  Midway is a special place.  I truly feel that our teachers and staff are second to none.  They work extremely hard every day to make sure our students receive the best possible education and learning environment.  My favorite part of the day is seeing our kids.  Our goals for this school year are to continue our implementation of STEAM throughout the school, integrate as much inquiry-based instruction as we possibly can, and set goals for our students and ourselves.  I want students to think critically, collaborate with each other, understand how to properly communicate their thinking, and always pursue their curiosity and creativity.  Most importantly, I believe that good character is the key to a good person.  Please use the Sunday Stinger to keep up to date with all news and events at Midway.  Please let me know if I can help you by calling the school or sending me an email.  I look forward to working together as a community to provide the best possible education for our students.
